This is Calix and Emma's story and it doesn't disappoint. Rescued by Calix, Emma struggles to leave her slave training behind but with time and patience from Calix her spirit slowly comes out and with it their attraction gets stronger. Despite her birth control injection that she had just before she was taken causing a few issues and a few misunderstandings, Calix and Emma find that their attraction may or may not be a mate bond and patience is not something either of them have. Hot, steamy and with lots of drama, you can't fail to be drawn to these two and their struggles and determination. I love the narration by Troy Duran as he really does bring the characters to life.
