Summary
Book 1 in the Blood Sea Series
Ceruleus, Crown Prince of the Blood Sea, spots Penelope while patrolling one night. This human female should be no threat to him . . . so why can she hear his song? Convinced that Goddess has a purpose for her, Ceris saves the female, defying the laws of his people in the process.
Penelope Carver is young, beautiful, wealthy, and the heir to an empire. Hours before she is to be wed to the man her father has chosen for her, a storm knocks her overboard into the sea.
A Siren's Hold is a spicy siren romantasy with content some readers may find disturbing.

This is the first time that I have listened to a book by Jude Vanity and it was a very intriguing story.
A Siren's Hold is the first book in the Blood Sea Sirens series and I am actually looking forward to where this series is going.
I liked the sound effects in this audio there is like an echo sometimes when they are talking in this undersea world.
Penelope Carver is from a wealthy family and is about to get married, but her husband to be Kent is NOT what he seems to be.They are on a luxury boat before the wedding and in the early hours of the moring on deck,Penelope hears a Sirens call, and notices an Island.
She is drawn to the voice and wants to go to it..Kent disturbs her musings and she falls overboard Kent is happy about this because he wanted her dead.
Ceruleus is the Crown Prince of the Blood Sea and he witnesses Penelope's fall into the depths of the Ocean..He saves her life and takes her to the Island.
This is where Penelope discovers a whole new world and a whole new different kind of love with a creature who worships her.
Ceruleus is half man half sea creature with scales, fins and tentacles and has a strange connection with the human woman and wants her..he also needs to protect her.
They fall in love quickly but how can it work they are from different worlds and so he must take Penelope back to shore and to her people.
Joanna Rosewood narrates this story performing both the male and the female roles and I thinks she did such a wonderful telling this story.
I enjoyed listening to this book.
