About this listen

The world will burn in the final installment of Scarlett St. Clair's bestselling Hades X Persephone saga.

The gods are at war, the Titans have been released, and Hades and Persephone must fight tooth and nail for their happy ending.

Persephone, Goddess of Spring, never guessed that a chance encounter with Hades, God of the Underworld, would change her life forever—but he did. Now embroiled in a fight for humanity and battles between the gods, Persephone and Hades have entered a world they never thought they would see. To end the chaos, Persephone must draw upon her darkness and embrace who she's become—goddess, wife, queen of the Underworld.

Once, Persephone made bargains to save those she loves. Now, she will go to war for them.

chaos indeed. i really enjoyed it and although it was a long book it felt like not enough. The romance in this book although it was nice i got bored of it cause i was more invested in the plot of the series and how it'll end. I liked the multiple povs but also i did not like Theseus pov at all. I loved listening to it. it definitely made it more enjoyable and i understood better the fantasy book!!!

The addition of this new male narrator for this book, was a jarring addition that I had to adjust to before being able to fully get lost in this book series once more, I’m honestly disappointed in how poorly his performance matches meg’s who in contrast is very capable of adding a warmth to all of her dialogue but even when he’s around “the woman who gave him life” it’s like a commentary on the weather

The jarring addition of the monotone male narrator

I have eagerly waited to get to this book, having stumbled upon the first 3. But something just feels off with this one, the storyline feels a little jolty for me. The male narrator was not necessary in my opinion, I really struggle to listen to his chapters. If I wasn't 3 books deep and have the need to complete what I start, I would sadly pass on this for that reason. I shall continue and if I find my opinion to change, I will rewrite my review.

Additional narrator wasn't needed.
