Was a o excited for this book - but the guys voice absolutely ruined it

I have eagerly waited to get to this book, having stumbled upon the first 3. But something just feels off with this one, the storyline feels a little jolty for me. The male narrator was not necessary in my opinion, I really struggle to listen to his chapters. If I wasn't 3 books deep and have the need to complete what I start, I would sadly pass on this for that reason. I shall continue and if I find my opinion to change, I will rewrite my review.

Not one of my favourites, story dragged and random sex scenes were not well placed

I absolutely love the stories, I have loved the narration up until this book. I am sure in the right book this narrator would have been great but he doesn't suit the role and it really has grated on me enough to mention it! I envisaged the narration to be as husky and dark as Hades himself is portrayed in the narration of the previous books.
