I've read the book and it's one of the best I've read. So it was easy to make this an audible selection. I put off listening initially because of its dark content but it's one of the best audible choices I've made.
Elena Wolfe does a fabulous job of narrating the story and her voice gives a human edge over reading the book.
if I could award gold stars they'd definitely be 5 big gold ones. Awesome story and I can't wait to get into the sequel now.

HUGE WARNING FOR TRIGGERS!!!!

I was intrigued by the story but then ... the childhood torture is just... too graphic and really does one really want to read this hideousness for pleasure? I don't think so.

I'm half way through and I don't think I need to read such gratuitous sexual violence on a 10 and 12 year old!

No wonder she is so bitter and twisted and wants revenge!!

I think this goes beyond dark! This is black, tormented, twisted and quite frankly sick! 

I feel violated!
