Bones by Chelle Rose is a dark mafia romance that I listened to on audio narrated by Amanda Willow and Joe Arden. This is the first book in the Bonetti Brothers series.

This is the first book of Chelle's that I have read, and it won't be my last. I really enjoyed the relationship between Luca and Athena. I loved getting both of their points of views throughout the book. It really brought the story to life.

I can't wait for the next book in the series Reaper to be released on audio so I can get Reaper and Arabella's story.

Joe and Amanda did an amazing job on the narration. They both really know how to bring a story to life. I look forward to listening to more of their work in the future.

I would recommend this book if you're looking for a dark romance, mafia romance, captive romance, or forced marriage.

This was a brilliant performance of Joe Arden... Again!! He makes the funny bits hilarious, the torture terrifying and the emotions to raw to handle. This man is mind-blowing! Amanda Willow really lets you feel the trauma and hurt, the love she feels so deeply. Absolutely loved it!

It’s been a while since i read a book where i had to take breaks and touch grass. Be warned this book is dark, and you should not skip those trigger warnings! I know some of us (me included) like to go in blind, but this is not such a book. It deals with some heavy themes as such may not be for everyone!

Did i enjoy it? Absolutely! First half of the book my heart was just bleeding out for our FMC. She was fierce but she went through so much and it showed in her behaviour. You will hate Luca/Bones in the beginning. But he’ll grow on you even after everything he did.

Now let’s talk narration because i did listen to the book. Joe arden and Amanda Willow did an amazing job. Joe’s unhinged laughter was highlight. It showed that he embraced Luca and portrayed him amazing! It was my first time listening to Amanda, and i liked her very much. She was able to portray Athena perfectly!

Overall i loved the story and narration and can’t wait to see what comes next!
