Summary

What happens when your baby's daddy crashes through your bathroom ceiling... and into your life?

A long time ago, York Davis made an online friend, and fell in love with him. Unbeknownst to York, FrogPrince100 was also a college professor. When they met to sate Prince's heat, Prince conceived. The very next day, Prince disappeared from York's life, shattering his heart.

Five years ago, Perry Larkin did something he shouldn't: He gave in to his desires and slept with his crush. The very first alpha to make him feel safe after much violent abuse from his exes. Thing was, York was 16 years younger than Perry. To hide his identity, Perry wore a mask to their first and only meeting. Then, crippled by guilt, he left, taking their unborn child with him.

Fast forward to today: York is a firefighter who has sworn off love. Except his nervous new neighbor, Perry Larkin? He smells familiar. Perry feels familiar. York has no clue what FrogPrince looked like, but Perry can't be him.

Besides, Perry has a four-year-old son who can't be York's, because Prince had been on birth control that night... right?

Burning for My Prince is a stand-alone non-shifter MPreg novel with snake jokes, new uses for honey, and an adorable four-year-old. No cheating, no cliff-hangers, but there definitely is a happily ever after.

What do you get when you have an Alpha (York), an Omega (Perry) a child, jar of honey and snakes in your shorts.
You have an Anna Wineheart original. I love this series but in Audio format I actually laughed put loud so many times. The hubby frowned at me, but I still laughed. There are sad bits as well, parts that bring tears both good and bad. But overall you get a great story. Worth listening to multiple times.

Wow Loved it.

Burning for My Prince is the first book I've read by Anna Winehart and I loved this audio version performed by John Solo. I am a huge fan of John Solo's audio performances and this one is outstanding. I'm honestly not sure if I would have liked this story as much if I'd just read it. The story was good but John made it great. The different voices he uses for the characters are diverse and made it easy to tell which character was speaking. I especially like the voice he did for Perry's son Caleb.

I definitely want to continue with this series if more are released as audiobooks.

A complimentary copy of this audiobook was provided to me but my review was voluntary and not influenced by the author and/or narrator.

So hot, wonderful narration.

This is a typical Anna Wineheart MM A/O Mpreg set in the Meadowfall universe. With enough spice and heat and quirky twist. This is book one in the Meadowafall Firefighters series. Perry is a professor and omega who is precious, damaged and scared to believe he will gind a kind loving Alpha. He has a child called Caleb, who later on becomes obsessed 🐍.
York is a firefighter and alpha and the new neighbour of Perry which he meets in the moat compromising and unexpected way.
Perry and York know eachother, but York is not aware of the consequuences from their last in person meet up. The both know one thing, they like the other. Can they talk eveything and can York handle the truth and does Perry believe in trust? One thing you will never look at honey in the same way . 📚 4,5*

Overall the narration was adequate, but some things annoyed me. The way some scenes was not pleasant for me, to stereotypical. 4-

I read this book as and ebook and enjoyed the opportunity to listen to it as well the performance was great. This story is hot fun and sometimes awkward . Love the May December romance. One of the MCs
is dealing with the effect of having an abusive ex.

Great performance

Story: I have very mixed feelings about this story. It has an interesting dynamic, but there were some aspects of it and situations that I completely did not understand and for me, they did not fit the story. I also found it hard to relate to the MCs, whose decisions left me creasing my brows more than once. That being said, I liked that the plot was not linear and the characters were not flat and predictable. I don't expect every story to be totally and completely up my alley and despite the hangups I had with this one, the writing was good and there was a lot of witty humor I really enjoyed.

Narration: For the first time ever I will not be praising John Solo up and down. Same as with the story, in some places the emotions portrayed by the narrator totally missed the mark for me and were way too exaggerated. His voice is good and easy to follow for a non - native English speaker, but in this book I did not enjoy it as much as usually.
