Joe and Lucy absolutely owned the narration for Dima and Natalia. Their performances were incredible, but honestly, none of it would hit this hard without JAroles’ writing behind it all.

And Dima… oh my god, Dima. A completely unhinged man singing while casually chopping someone up, yet somehow still the most devoted lover to his little sparrow. I’m obsessed with him.

I was SO happy we got more from Natalia’s POV this time. Her admiration for Dima melted me, and I loved how strong she was through all the chaos. She doesn’t just stand by and watch — she dives right into the mess with him, no complaints, hands just as dirty.

This audiobook was the perfect mix of spice, romance, dark themes, and surprisingly hilarious moments. I was genuinely crying laughing in some scenes… and then tearing up by the end.

And THAT ENDING?? Absolutely perfect. Everything wrapped up so beautifully and felt so satisfying.

I’m going to be recommending and talking about this forever because WOW.

‘Everyone has trauma therapy can’t fix’

This quote helped healed me so much last year when I read Call me Freak and I will never forget the relief it gave me to feel understood.

Dima is my favourite psycho and I was so excited to be back in his world and learn more about his and Natalia’s story.

So many secrets were uncovered in this book I was gasping and saying what no way out loud so many times.

Dima and Natalia will do anything for each other and truly would sacrifice themselves for each other just to keep the other safe. There love for each other is true and nothing will break it.

As always this is highly emotional story and both Joe and Lucy are outstanding in these roles.

Joe as Dima is truly breathtaking there isn’t an emotion that I don’t feel while listening. Dima really goes through so much more in this book and you really feel the battle in his head and the struggle he feels with events that happen.

Lucy as Natalia is such a beautiful performance she gives Natalia this tone that soft and innocent but he scene between Natalia and her mother was outstanding and Natalia really came into her self and showed that she is a fierce queen!!

Dima & Natalia 🖤

The 2nd part of Dimitri and Natalias story.

I listened to this as an audio book, and it was brilliant.

Dimitri is bipolar and the internal dialogue he has is a curious glimpse of what is going on. For the author to script these scenes in her work is amazing and gives the reader/listener a better understanding.

What I also loved was the relationships he had with his grampa and Natalia.

This story had so many plot twists and surprises that it keeps you captivated. It also has spice, blood, and brutality, as expected.

I enjoyed the book and would love to read/listen more from the author.
