Erotic High fantasy actually done well?! I cannot express how long I have been trying to find a great blend of my two favourite genres high or epic fantasy and steamy, aggressive erotica.
Normally the sex in high fantasy is always bland and suggestive, even the rape scenes leaving to much to the imagination to be enjoyable. Almost like they are ashamed to write them. However Christie Sims and Alara Branwen have blended the unique tropes of fantasy such as Elven Forests, Bows strung with Silver, violent conflicts and aggressive Orcs with the ravishing lusts of erotica, S&N staples (figurative not literial I'm afraid) intense and violent throat 'ra**ings and sheer bliss of forbidden orgasm, down to an absolute perfect art form. The only reason I have not given this five s stars is because I was left with a heart crushing sense of "No, don' t stop the book now! This is just getting good, come on!" (kind of like a woman edging a man towards the brink of orgasm then suddenly rolling off you and soon as she is satisfied. Oh hell no! I would like the authors to take a well deserved thank you from me for writing this story but also please consider writing more in this genre. You girls (I assume you are girls if not my bad) truly are talented.
