This book was amazing, dark. spicy and funny, normally I'm quite taken with the brooding MMC's in books like this yet the FMC leaves me feeling a bit meh but Sloane is one of my favourite FMC's ever! She's fierce but vulnerable and absolutely hilarious at times, the banter between Sloane and Declan had me smirking throughout and then you get all the yummy parts of a dark romance, a morally grey, possessive. touch her and 💀kind of guy that is also in his 40's and Irish ...... erm yes please! a really enjoyable story, some twists and an "I need to know what happens next" after the little epilogue means it's an easy 5 ⭐'s for me.

This was an absolute banger!

I love J.T.’s dry AF sense of humour. This book had me cackling. Sloane is feisty and sassy and confident and all the things. Aaaaaaaaand she has Declan wrapped around her pinky.

This is abduction, mafia romance with sizzling chemistry.

Michelle is phenomenal as Sloane. All the stars. And Troy is a fantastic Irish mobster. Brooke makes a special appearance and fits right in.

I am binging this series now. I can’t wait to see who else gets a book!

This is a story that I acts a punch. It follows Nat’s BFF Sloane and her escapade’s with the Irish Mafia! You are introduced to Declan Donnelly head of the Irish who falls for Sloane following a botched kidnapping in revenge for the Irish who were shot in book one. Their story is hot from the start and I mean smokin! Troy and Michelle do such a good job with the narration too. There are some genus one liners, laugh out loud antics between Declan and Sloane but also heartbreaking moments of sincere love. I loved it! 5* sequel!
