Story line was OK but seemed to be going rather slowly. Also, wayyyyy more read by female narrator and not much insight into the guys mind.

The story was a bit slow. If you do not like it when one in the romance couple is trying to get with another person after the romance step has started then this night not be for you. I do not mind arguing ect but i realy do not like it when the man or woman gets so badly hurt.

Great, loved it, Castle of kings was exactly what I'd hoped for after reading the blurb.

Jake is the hot alpha bossy type of MC character who sets his sights on the president's sister Liz who has just returned home after a few years away finishing nursing school.
Liz has grown up in the MC, she's the type of woman who can hold her own, stand on her own two feet and she knows Jake's type, arrogant, flirtatious, and a man whore.

Thing is, with Jake it's insta lust, he loves Liz's sass, he doesn't give up and he's determined to make her his.

A good mixture of club drama, angst, danger, and hotness. Loved the characters. Castle of kings was everything I expect to find in an MC romance.

Told in first person dual pov.

Enjoyed this book, an easy light listen. Definitely don’t agree with the previous review it was very tame and hardly needed a trigger warning.

I really enjoyed the intensity of this book. Jake was a very intense, alpha hole, but he really fell hard & had to prove he was interested for the long term and grovel a bit when he made some mistakes. He was protective, intense, possessive & a bit charming.
I really liked the chemistry & banter.
There was chaos, angst, frustration, betrayal, loss & protectiveness.
