I just finished the audiobook of Confession by Rina Saint, book two in the Constantine Brothers series, and it was such an enjoyable listen. This MM bodyguard/boss romance had me hooked from the start and kept my attention all the way through.

The dual narration was fantastic. Both narrators were new to me, but they did an amazing job bringing the characters to life and really captured the emotion behind the story. Their performances made the connection between the characters feel even stronger.

The storyline was engaging and well paced, and I loved the dynamic between the boss and his loyal bodyguard. The chemistry between them was great, with plenty of tension and some very well-written steamy moments throughout.

Overall this was an easy 5-star listen for me. If you enjoy MM romance with a boss/bodyguard dynamic and a story that keeps you invested from beginning to end, I’d definitely recommend giving this one a try.

Devoured this in one sitting fast paced dark mafia hot steamy in love with his boss for years, that twist I was shook I wish it was longer, I loved how we get to see how far Roman has come since book1,

audiobook is narrated in duet style by J.F. Harding and Ryan Stone, both giving us an incredible performance. The story is a bit more linear compared to the roller-coaster that book one is, this doesn’t make it by any means bad, just a different vibe. Rina does such an amazing job with MM spice scenes, vulnerability, and intimacy; there are, for sure, my favourite moments between Vitali and Quinn. But my most favourite place in this series is that damn kitchen …. U can cut the tension with a knife!

Confession follows on after Possession, which I highly recommend reading prior, to be introduced to Vitali and Quinn, and to familiarise yourself with Roman and Lucas who are present in Confession.

Vitali was an unexpected surprise for me - yes, he's head of the family, but there's so much depth to his character and his acceptance of who he really is and his denial of accepting love and affection.

J.F.Harding and Ryan Stone were such a great representation of both Vitali and Quinn. They're tension and emotion absolutely palpable, which really enhanced the plot and of course the spice which as always with Rina's books was top teir.

Quinn has fought to hide his feelings for Vitali for years, prioritising his role as bodyguard but deep down, this has become a struggle as he perceives that his feelings will never be reciprocated because vitali is quite obviously not into men, unbeknownst to him that vitali has been denying his own feelings. After the events of book one, Vitali has no choice but to accept his feelings for Quinn.

Experiencing Vitali's Bi-Awakening with this audio was so profound and so heartfelt, J.F.Harding really was the perfect selection.
Ryan Stone's representation of quinn was so well portrayed. Quinn's past was so sad and harrowing which Ryan really encompassed through his performance.

Rina's books always scratch an itch for me. They're not overly long but they do pack a punch with the fast pace and high spice.

MM romance- Mafia Boss x Bodyguard - Bi-awakening - secrets - Mafia war - breaking down emotional walls - mutual protectiveness - pining - affection resistance - emotionally charged - found family - first commitment.
