Misha had somehow landed herself a job as a barista at one of the very first coffee shops to officially reopen in the city after an alien race known as Debir overtook the earth. Work is good, business is picking up, and things are feeling almost normal again until one of those aliens walks in and her world turns upside down.

Seeing a Debir in the flesh was nothing like she had imagined it would be, and the minutes-long encounter leaves her with memories of ember colored eyes and a rumbling baritone that wouldn't let go.

Love it. It was different then other alien books I've listened to. Can't wait for book two and geat narration.

I honestly didn't go into this book with high expectations. I was pleasantly surprised that it was actually pretty hot! It was written well and I enjoyed it. My only complaint it the abrupt ending. I want more! What happens next in the couple's story??

Michelle did a great job narrating this short story.
