An Obsessed Novella is the perfect description of this book! From the very start, I was pulled in and could not stop listening. The story is instalust, with Lilah and Kain meeting a coffee shop. The chemistry between these two is hot to say the least! I love a story like this where there is heat, has the one night stand feel yet you know there is more to the relationship just by the way the couple interacts. With the shocking twist at the end, it makes the story even more intimate to me.

Ava Lucas is amazing. Her voice is sultry and seductive giving this story passion filled. Her character voices is spot on, both with Lilah and Kain making this a really enjoyable listen.

I loved how the author wrote this book and thought the ending was one of the best I have heard! That is the only spoiler I will give. Jeanne St. James is a very talented author. This book is a standalone listen and the beginning of a series. Ava Lucas was wonderful! I loved how she had distinguished voices for the characters. Kane with a K stands out to me as an enticing alpha male. The imagery in this book was vibrant. I can envision the coffee house, Kane's suit, etc I can't wait to listen to what happens next.
