Summary
An emotional MM romance of protective love, quiet strength, and the healing power of trust.
Darren Quinn, a seasoned professional and manager of an elite sanctuary of power and trust, finds his boundaries crumbling when newly divorced Miles Bennet walks through his door.
Miles isn’t just another client; he’s a man drowning in guilt, seeking healing in surrender. But as Darren guides him through sessions of intensive guidance, service, and intricate ties, their connection deepens into something neither expected. When Miles’s vulnerability collides with Darren’s overwhelming desire, lines blur—until a single kiss shatters every rule.
Now, Darren must decide if breaking every rule is worth the chance at something real. Can he set aside his professional mask and n for a truth he can no longer deny: that Miles isn't just seeking his command, he’s seeking a place to finally belong. A steamy, MM hurt comfort romance about healing, trust, and the courage to let go—both in the sanctuary and in love. HEA/HFN.
The quiet, earnest vulnerability of Heated Rivalry meets the profound healing and protective authority of a Nora Phoenix hero in this deeply emotional, high-heat romance where a man must break every rule and yield to his deepest desires just to heal the man he can’t live without.
Heat level: 5

The writing form is something I have not heard before. I'm used to hearing both characters' POV in the same book, so both book no. 1 and this book was difficult for me. I felt like it was missing the other person's thoughts and his being. It made me feel detached from the characters.
The narrator did a great job.
I'm giving it 4 stars because it was better than book 1 and it is not the author's fault that I do not like to writing style and that I cannot connect with the characters because of it.
