It was a hot sunny suburban afternoon in the spring of 1956. Gay still meant jolly and boys could be buddies and fool around without ever having heard the word homosexual. Fun was fun, and there was no guilt as long as no one knew....
In the driveway Ken watched Bradley's broad shoulders as he leaned over the engine of the car he was souping up. His blue jeans pants pulled tight over his round reaching backside, looking a like an open hamburger bun. It wasn't more then few more sweaty minutes of tinkering and sun before he was shirtless. As Ken handed Brad tools, he leaned in to run his grey eyes over his best friend's tight stomach and deep red nipples. Kneeling to set tools back in the toolbox in the driveway, his friend's teenage rump made his mouth water, as its twin curves whited beneath the denim fabric. Buns, there was a reason they were called buns....Ken licked his lips and was suddenly very hungry.
Brad was hot, sweet and sexually inexperienced, Ken was very experienced and ready to teach his best friend about it all. Together they have the best night of their young lives.

Basically where an adult is making an adult subject "palatable" for a child... in the song, it's a brutal unaliving of the child's mother... in this it's sexual awakenings.
I'll be perfectly honest... because the story WAS infanticised to a certain degree... it did become VERY, VERY (extremely 😬) uncomfortable.
Because the way that both boys were talking & their associations of what they were doing sounded more like little boys.
I can't remember if their ages were mentioned, but if I'm recalling US culture correctly, kids are taught to drive when they're 16 there (which is the legal age of consent in the UK, but I always prefer my MCs to be of full legal age &/or older, preferably)... so, I thought the boys would've been at least 17-18 when the story started... but the way they were talking... they sounded nowhere close to that, because even the most juvenile of teens wouldn't earnestly use all those innuendos unless there WAS a need for it & they were home alone, so there wasn't a need unless it had been in a decidedly sardonic way that teens have... which also wasn't the case...
I sped it up as it was an ARC... but it was not a comfortable listen IMO!
Also... full penetration on your first try?!? Yikes 😵💫🥴
I think as this is a 2 part story... this could've been just experimenting without penetration & the 2nd instalment, when they're (I'm assuming & hoping) older, been about going all the way... but, that's just me!
