About this listen

Some wounds, only a monster can heal.

I've always hated Christmas. With a name like Chris Kringle, it's hard not to. It's only gotten worse since I've been back from the war. Christmas is supposed to be jolly, but for me, it's a grim reminder of past failures. I need to get away from it. To be somewhere quiet. To heal.

When I wake up in the South Pole after an accident to a Krampus tending my wounds, it feels like the perfect opportunity to get some much-needed R&R.

Yet this gentle giant is so achingly sweet, I can't help but fall for him, even though he's a monster.

But another, more sinister monster may be lurking much closer to home, and if we don't hunt it down in time, this could be the last Christmas ever.

Kissed by the Krampus is a holiday MM monster romance featuring a cinnamon roll monster and a veteran grappling with his PTSD.

Contains mature themes.

As a fan of monster romance, Kissed by the Krampus was exactly the kind of spicy holiday chaos I didn't know I needed. Think Soul Eater by Lily Mayne meets winter mischief—with just the right mix of sweet, hot, fun, and a bit of madness.

Ollie and Chris absolutely carried this story. Their chemistry was both heartwarming and scorching, and the narration did a great job bringing their dynamic to life. It was smooth, emotionally tuned in, and let me fall right into the world without distraction.

The vibe here is definitely adjacent to Lily Mayne’s Monstrous series—military hunting monsters, intense action, spicy romance—but with its own spin that feels fresh and exciting. If you love monster/human pairings, steamy tension, and a bit of holiday monster weirdness, this is for you.

What I really appreciated is how it balanced heart, heat, and humor. From the government cover-ups to the high-stakes tension and wild situations, it never stopped being entertaining. And yes, there’s spice—well-written, well-narrated spice.

Bottom line: If you loved Monstrous, you’ll probably love this too. It’s different enough to be its own thing, but familiar enough to scratch that same itch. I'm already looking forward to the next book in the series. Bring on more monsters, please.
