Every book that has been produced in the Berserker series have enjoyed and this was no exception. Finally Juliet is taken care of by the strong/caring Jarl & Fenrir 😍 Having spent nearly all her life in the Abbey being fed a bunch of lies she initially struggles to accept their help but gradually she lets them in and it was epic. Looking forward to more in this series.

It does help if you follow the series, this is book 8, but this can be enjoyed as a standalone. The narrator does a fair job of speaking as the ex-nun Juliet, when he reads for Jarl and Fenrir or any of the other berserkers, they definitely sound like male warriors. Almost a captive, Juliet is persuaded by kindness and love, Earth shattering orgasms and a bit of BDSM kink to completely abandon being a nun, and fully embrace being joined to two berserkers. The story lends itself well to the audiobook version, it’s easy to follow the plot and all the characters. I could picture the locations as if I was watching it. One negative is the plot almost doesn’t describe the Corpse King battle at all.
