AJ Merlin continues to wow me with another awesome novel, and it was great to see another side of her creative mind in this contemporary reverse harem, polyamorous romance. I loved how she incorporated references to some horror movies with some reenactments and to Peter Pan, Wendy and the Lost Boys. This captivating story drew me in right from the start and it held my attention straight to the end. Ari won a trip to a gaming convention in San Diego but her lucks run out while staying at the cozy Airbnb, just when she was getting ready to eat and relax for the night she has a frightening experience, so much so, she booked a trip and booked a flight to go back home to Solen City, Washington. It was not a night to forget, and the bizarreness did not end there, it seemed to have followed her home, or maybe it was just the masked guys who followed her home. Holy moly, Merlin takes her readers for a wild ride, the lost boys, Isaac, Ashe, Ezra and Arlo, led by Cyril, come into Ari’s life and they claim she is theirs. I loved the mystery behind the lost boys and what they were all about, it was great to watch it all unfold. Ari’s resistance to the was futile, and she falls for them easily, individually and as a group. This cleverly plotted story has plenty of drama, angst, mystery, thrilling suspense, action, twists and turns, heartfelt emotions, and some steamy romance. AJ Merlin, thank you for another amazing story and wild ride.

🎧📚🎧 And for the fabulous narration, Allyson Voller and Tyler Darby are the perfect cast to bring these characters and their story to life. They had a complete understanding of the characters they were portraying, giving each a voice that fit that character’s persona, sounding believable and just as I pictured the characters to sound. Allyson nailed it as Ari, she grasped all sides of her personality, including her strength and ability to stand up to the Lost Boys. Tyler Darby perfected the roles of the Lost Boys, he too grasped all sides of their personality, including their dark psychotic side. These two versatile voice artists set the perfect tone for the story, captured all the characters’ emotions and projected them into their perfection, making you feel every single one. They are entertaining storytellers and a pleasure to listen to. Thank you for another exceptional listen.

This is my first read/listen by this author. I never really enjoyed the disney peter pan, I think the boy who never grew up idea got on my nerves!lol BUT I thoroughly enjoyed this dark and sexy spin! The narrators did a fantastic job, but I've come to expect that with Pink Flamingo Productions!!! VIPFLOCK!

It’s been a while since I read the book. Listening to it made me realise how much I’d missed Ari and the guys especially Isaac , Ezra and Cy . It was amazing and Allyson & Tyler were the perfect narrators.
