This story was excellent to read! It had all the elements of an excellent story! The plot was interesting and fun. The characters were funny and creative. The side characters helped to advance the story and were interesting too. The connection between the characters was palpable from the start! It was a beautiful romance story! The narration was excellent of course! Michael Ferraiuolo is an amazing voice actor. He brings life to his work in amazing ways! He does an amazing job with voicing each character uniquely and bringing life to the story. Michael creates a beautiful image to the written story and helps people like me who connect better with auditory than with the written. Overall five stars

Lynn has done it again! Another winner! I loved both Yuri and Angelo and really enjoyed their unique journey and Lynn's unique take on royalty and betrothal from birth.

This story is extensive and I really enjoyed the back and forth. I feel Angelo's story was really well done and his journey to finding himself, what he liked, his sexuality and his eventual attraction to Yuri was organic and heartfelt. I was endeared to both these characters but felt a unique kinship with Angel. I loved Lynn's approach to his sexuality and loved that he was "Yurisexual"

Michael has done a fantastic job narrating this one and every character has their own voice and Michael brings that little bit extra to the characters and makes them come alive!

Highly recommended story, author and narrator!!!

I absolutely enjoyed this book. Van Dorn’s talents give the reader a broad range of emotions as well as wonderful character development. Ferraiuolo’s narration evokes so many feels. Honestly a book not to be missed

A case of arranged marriage, opposites attract royals with a nice bit of hurt/comfort and a hearty dose of snark. Royally Screwed is Lynn Van Dorn's spin on this trope. Ms. Van Dorn's skill at drawing characters, and finding ways for them to connect, is impressive. And I enjoyed the little bits of fairy-tale mingling with our real world issues. It's fun, and pretty light, and thoroughly diverting.

Audio performed by Michael Ferraiuolo who has his work cut out for him! With a huge cast of characters and a wide variety of accents and nationalities, Mr. Ferriauolo keeps up the super fast pace and makes the most of the humor in Royally Screwed.

Prince Yuri and Prince Angelo’s mothers destined their children to marry at birth. Of course one baby’s ultrasound had appeared to be of a girl. When the women found themselves with two boys, it was decided to let the alliance stand. Both country needs the other and this was a way to ensure prosperity for both nations.

Never mind there was no way to predict whether either boy would even wind up being gay. Little pesky details.

In the end, Yuri was clearly destined for the path of being a gay prince. He embraced it, all the while knowing his betrothed would never – could never – reciprocate the feelings. Angelo is as straight as they come. The line of women he’s been with makes that very clear.

One night, during their teenage years at boarding school, Yuri pushes Angelo too far and Angelo retaliates. In the most interesting of ways. Punishment, anyone? This sets up a pattern for their lives. Yuri misbehaves, Angelo punishes. One would almost think they liked this arrangement. As time passes, though, Yuri finds himself craving those punishments and when Angelo is no longer available, Yuri looks elsewhere with disturbing results.

Angelo, tired of watching Yuri make so many mistakes, comes back into Yuri’s life and again takes charge. And suddenly the very straight Angelo is having fantasies about his betrothed. But scheming parents step in and it appears all is lost.

Fear not, this is a Lynn Van Dorn romance so a happy ending is guaranteed. The men just might have had to take a few detours to get there.

I cannot end this review without mentioning the lovely Michael Ferraiuolo. He and Ms. Van Dorn make a great team and I again adored his performance. He nailed each man perfectly and I sank right into his narration. Definitely one I can recommend.
