About this listen

Reborn. Reclaimed. Wrathful. Ready.

My death was planned.

Executed.

I took my last breath, and was ready to be reborn.

With my kings at my side and new experiences on the horizon, there’s nothing I want more than to have my revenge on the lords for what they did to me.

They underestimated me.

Not even death can hold me back. They’re about to find out what it’s like when a queen rises because I was born for this.

I am the kings’ savage little queen.

Savage Little Queen is the fifth book in the Kings of Bolten series.

Thrown straight in where book 4 left .. we face tension and anxiety for the King's.
Everything is so fractured.

Holy plot twists! I can't keep up and had to reread the first twist like 4 times then again in other chapters.

With every book i find myself liking Dom more and more, he was never my favourite but his character development is so well written, pairing that with Joe's narration its a whole different experience.

Bianca and her King's have been fighting this whole time - they deserve a rest .. a bit of reprieve 😭
I love the dynamic between Bianca and her King's .. they way they've all grown to accept one another and Bianca finally ascending to that thrown she rightfully deserves after everything she's endured so far.

I trust noone .. I'm trying to trust the process but it's starting to tear me apart, the plot twists and cliffhangers are killing me. Don't get me wrong I love it 🤣 but geez, KG puts her characters through the ringer.
I need their happy ending but it looks like we have a lot more to come and I'm dying to know the identity of one individual introduced in this installment.

As this series has progressed, the narration team have adapted to the deep emotions that these characters exhibit. I can't imagine another production company making this work so seamlessly.

Excited but also dreading the last book of King's of Bolten .. i know it's going to wreck me!

As always please familiarise yourself with the content before reading.

This book had me going through every emotion possible! it was full of action and drama, the spice was hot and Drake, omg Drake!! it was full on.

I did really worry for a few of my favourite characters - K.G.Reuss. I'm watching you 👀. The ties to the underground are exposed and connections to another series was good, and that huge twist halfway through??

Let's not forget the mammoth of a cliffhanger you've left me on. I'm really looking forward to some characters getting their Karma in the final book.

The audio was performed amazingly, and all narrators put so much effort into it, and it paid off, definitely a series to do the audio with.

So so good

Mind blown, I am here thinking, why, how could you, and oh no K.G. Reuss, you didn’t! Oh yes, she did, and just when the going was good for Bianca Walker and her Kings, the worst was behind them, and everything is going in the right direction, the rug gets pulled out from under their feet, with twists and turns you never saw coming. And that ending, savage indeed, just diabolical, an ending that hits you in the heart, heartbreakingly hard, and the pain is raw and real. Words of wisdom came earlier in this series, to be careful of who trust, and they never should have let their guard down, because sometimes the enemy is closer than you think. Intentionally kept vague, because it is best going in not knowing and to experience the wild ride at the moment, and be sure to hold on tight and prepare to be amazed. The drama is non-stop in this fast-paced and powerful story, and the deception and betrayals are mind-boggling, leaving you wanting to know more. The complexity of this multi-layered story continues, as does the phenomenal writing, plot, world-building, character growth and development, too. K.G. Reuss, thank you for another sizzling hot and amazing story and emotional rollercoaster ride.

🎧📚🎧 This multi-cast production performed in duet is superb, and these fabulously talented voice artists, Blair Thatcher, Joe Arden, Jameson Adams, Liam Dicosimo, Devon Ryder, and Anthony Palmini, continue to perform brilliantly. Their portrayal of these characters is spot on, with voices that are fitting, accents and all, sounding believable and just as I imagine the characters to sound. They have been consistent with their character voices and performances throughout the series, growing in their roles as their characters grew. And let’s talk emotions — they expertly conveyed all their characters’ emotions and had you feeling each one. Their versatility and talent truly shone in their performance, a performance that is entertaining and keeps you glued to the story.

Astonishing Story & Narration🎧That Ending🤯😱Savage Indeed!

Book five was shorter than the others in the series so far and although there wasn't much plot momentum compared to previous books there were still a couple of jaw dropping revelations and I liked Bianca and her guys being able to enjoy their bubble for a minute even if it was on borrowed time. I loved the scenes with everyone finally together and the full cast audio sparkles in these particularly; the chapters where Levin and Fallon are trading insults back and forth, where Vinnie is just being Vinnie in amongst all the angst or Cole's reactions to Bianca and the babies (seriously can we not swap out him and Fallon?) were so good to listen to.

How Fallon has been forgiven so easily though is beyond me; I thought Drake was being set up to replace him to be honest rather than a straight up addition. Vinnie continues to be the one who can do no wrong in my eyes and I adore him. Levin wins the prize for being an absolute wally; IYKYK. Dom's apron and glasses made a reappearance which I always enjoy as he is so full on most of the time; he definitely seems to have changed for the better after all the heartbreak in book four. I'm a little sad Bianca has reverted back to Walker and hope that gets rectified soon.

Ugh to Celeste; she's still gross even if she's only there for a minute. I did feel a little smug at Everett getting knocked down a peg or two as I'm reading Chapel Crest in tandem. I'm looking forward to finding out who the woman is; I have a guess but I need to walk it back and see whose mum is potentially still in play! All the dads this time round are awful; I had been waiting for them to reappear and they definitely did that and then some. And Tate and Hail are conspicuously absent although after that ending, I think they may be about to pop up again...

Bianca just cant catch a break

Fast paced, spicy and filled with suspense, KG Reuss continues her Kings of Bolten series. Where are we when it starts? They are all at the Horseman's house as they get themselves together after their home was burned to the ground. Now plans have to be put into place to take their lives back and be able to thrive. There are scores to settle not only with Dom's dad, but inside their circle and a need to keep Bianca happy and satisfied. The addition of a couple of Lords just adds to the fun! Then just as things begin to build up, Reuss drops the bomb and now I am stuck waiting to see what will happen in the final chapter. This series is proving to be a fantastic, romantic suspense and I can't wait for the next one.

Blair Thatcher, Joe Arden, Jameson Adams, Liam DiCosimo, Devon Ryder and Anthony Palmini continue their full cast duet narration of this story and they are just amazing. The continuity of this series just enhances the story, and their voices are what makes it for me. Each nuance and emotion comes through and the talented cast is just incredible.

So good, I can't wait for more.
