If I wasn’t told that this was a different spin on ‘little red riding hood’ I’m not sure I would have made the connection. However, I did enjoy the story in its own right and the links that were made were thoughtfully done.

Well this book was free on audible, the story is pretty much OK though so much more could have been added to create more in depth likeable and dislikeable characters. However my main complaint is the very weird performance of the narrator, she seemed to verbalise the characters as one dimensional cardboard cut outs, her narration of the love scenes was as if they were a car chase, no depth, no warmth let alone heat. In fact the performance was abysmal resulting in me not even finishing the book

This is an original storyline that kept me wanting to know more, I felt for the characters struggles.
