Jeffrey is finally getting to marry the woman of his dreams, and he doesn’t care whether or not his family has opinions about that. Veronica is, after all, a strong woman - it’s one of the things he loves most about her. Throughout their relationship, she’s broadened his world in more ways than one. He gets out more, has been introduced to a carousel of interesting and attractive friends, and she definitely beats out any other woman he’s ever been with sexually.

Veronica likes to spice things up in the bedroom, which is why it’s no surprise when she tells him that she has a special event planned for their wedding night. They’ve skimped out on a honey moon, but that doesn’t mean it won’t be an unforgettable evening. She’s every bit the confident woman as she marches down the aisle to claim her groom and enjoys the rest of the night despite his family’s derision. Jeff ends the reception with a confusing and cryptic conversation and promise, but that doesn’t deter him from looking forward to the rest of the night’s activities.

They return home and Veronica immediately dresses up in some appropriately fancy lingerie that leaves little to the imagination and gets Jeff excited for whatever is coming next. But when she heads out to the kitchen quick, and he hears a male voice, trepidation sets in...what exactly does Veronica have in mind for the two...three?...of them.

He runs down to stop whatever scheme might be going on, and finds his wife chatting up her best friend, Damien. Jeff likes Damien but has always been intimidated by the much larger (and very handsome) man, who runs a logging company. Although they’ve known each other for years, Jeff has never been able to get a read on the guy, which is why fear sets in when he finds him in their kitchen. He’s quiet, calculated, and very direct; much like Veronica.

So it isn’t that surprising that Vern has thought up this particular plot - that maybe Jeff will enjoy a night being bossed around by someone other than just her.
