Hmmm, how to describe what I just read! First of all, I'm not a fan of retellings and never read them anymore. I've never read a good one and came across this book by chance. However, this author has totally changed my mind because I loved it.

Stalking Cinderella is a very well written book which pays homage to the original story, but also adds so much new content that I would consider this to be the better version. If the Disney Cinderella is for children, this is definitely for adults....with lots of spice.

Not only does this dark romance have elements of horror, it encompasses a smouldering wish granting devil, a wicked jealous step brother, evil stepmother and a Prince willing to do anything to get his Queen. All the characters in this book are terribly and wonderfully twisted, and all the male love interests honor and protect Elly in their own ways. It all ends in a HEA. The narrator does a great, believable job at both male and female characters.
