Eden is a small town boy from Hillsbury, TX. He moved to New York in search of his high school sweetheart, but to no avail. Taking a job as a gardener with living quarters, he finds himself involved with the Coleman's, a wealthy couple with a few devilish secrets.
Darius Coleman is a mortal man living in upstate New York, with his wife, Cara. Though he loves her and cares about her deeply, he doesn’t have much longer on this Earth. Darius, attracted to both, tries to bring Eden closer to Cara, and closer to him as well.
Cara is an immortal being that has lived for thousands of years. She has spent a lot of time finding men to take care of her (both sexually and nurturing) in return for wealth and power. She has found her next prey in Eden.
