I absolutely loved this audio and when I say I couldn’t turn it off I mean it! I was hooked from the very start and when the plot twist hit I was shocked in the best way possible!!!
Male dancer and secret society member marries fiery female you get a lot of chaos! He falls first and HARD!!
The banter and tension hit the spot and I now can’t wait for the next book to be available

At the beginning of the book, I wasn't quite sure where the story was going. By chapter 15, I really started to enjoy it! I was not expecting the twist at all, and anyone who says they did must have superpowers! I absolutely loved the epilogue and extended epilogue; I was laughing and felt the story had the perfect closure.

Narrated in duet by James Cassidy and Marie Hawkins this audio book is a fantastic listen too and Jacklyn Parker’s writing style is so engaging that the audio just flowed so effortlessly I was totally hooked by the prologue, and add to that James’s Australian accent this alone makes it an absolute must listen too.
This is the first title I have listened to from this author and all I can say is I’m definitely here for the long haul, this dancer/dark secret society genre is an intriguing concept and I loved everything about it.
Colby is from Australia who decides that he doesn’t want to follow tradition and run the family farm so with just a few dollars and a duffle bag he escapes to Las Vegas and quickly gets a job with a lead dancer with the Male Revue Show but then he is invited to join a dark secret society that actually ensures that when problems raise their heads or if revenue is at risk they made sure it is corrected quickly and without regard for anything else, in return Colby gets everything he ever need and money won't be a problem for the rest of his life, but first there is initiation of 3 test he has go pass all,of which involve spilling blood.
Sienna was a ballet dancer but not by choice she is forced to try and follow in her mother’s footsteps and join the Aurelia School of Dance the same elite ballet school her mother attended but after 2 failed attempts she cuts her losses and leaves New York and and the dance world behind and heads to Las Vegas where after a few years to struggling manages to open her own Pilates school.
When Sienna goes on a night out on the town with her girlfriends, they end up at one of Colby’s shows where she catches his eye leaving him knowing instantly that she's the one for him. And after little drunken drive through the Little White Wedding Chapel their marriage is not actually legal but Colby decides that Sienna doesn’t need to know that little piece of information and next morning he informs her they are husband and wife.
The story develops into a tale of insecurity, half truths and betrayal leaving them both desperately trying to stop what they’ve build together from crashing down around them, oh and did I mention that our MMC is pierced, worth reading for that alone!!!

Chapter 9 was SO good!!
I really liked it was dancer dark romance because the way in which the dance scenes where written I could see it so clearly in my head and I felt there connection. This story is full of secrets and banter and all the good things.
Marie Hawkins narrated Sienna and what a powerhouse of a performance she gave. Sienna is a strong FMC and Marie delivered with fierceness and delivered the banter to perfection along with the emotion.
James Cassidy performance of Colby was perfection from the accent work to the extra noises he made he really brought his all. I was left so emotional during one scene i could just feel all the feelings I loved it!!
I can’t wait for book 2.
