About this listen

I believe in love. It just doesn’t believe in me. I date. I’m all for giving guys a chance. I’ve just never met the one. Until on a spring morning in the English countryside, a tall, dark stranger emerges from the mist.

Logan Steele is all tousled hair, hard chest, and lips so perfect I want to reach out and touch them, just to check they’re real. I’m sure that’s a thunderclap of chemistry I feel between us. Did I mention he’s an Earl with a self-made fortune? A billionaire who works tirelessly for charity? And he’s so hot, watching him is like staring at the sun. But like I said, love isn’t rooting for me.

When I find out Logan Steele is out to destroy everything I’ve dedicated my life to protect, the chemistry disappears and the hope that had blossomed my chest turns to rage. It no longer matters that he quickens my pulse just saying my name, weakens my knees with a single touch, and that he might just be the greatest kisser that ever lived. I might believe in love, but Logan Steele is definitely not the one.

A stand-alone romance.

louise bay out did herself with this final book in the royals series. i loved Darcy and logan i liked how the story was simple no big drawn out drama and villains....i was shocked to say the least Logan takes Darcy to a presentation evening at hes old school where he runs a charity to help fund teenagers who come up with good business idea get their plans up and coming..they went to a inner city part of east London where it was basically pretty run down the school was run down by Logan and gone there prospered and wanted to give back.....i was shocked to hear the name of the brough i was my own brough the place i grew up in east London when i was a kid i was even more shocked when they said the name of the school it was the school i attended 25yrs ago it was crazy...this book has everything funny moments moments when you want to punch Logan in the face lol ..hot sex scenes and a great HEA.shane east and imogen church were perfect for this narrative no other ppl could of done it and Shane east such a sexy voice.5 star book for sure and you dont have to read the othet books it can be a standalone

It was interesting to read Darcy's story. I wish I had read the book & not listed to it being narrated. I really enjoyed The British Knight & loved the voice of Shane East & Saskia M. Their voicing of Darcy's character was super, and so I was therefore looking forward to Darcy's story. The story itself is good, though a bit unbelievable when Logan decided that he loved Darcy seemingly only after a good talking to from his granny(?), but sadly it was the narration from Imogen Church that ruined it for me. I'm not sure what her brief was, as to how she was to interpret Darcy's character, but the way she portrayed her was as a dithering, hesitate, slightly pathetic individual. Most of her sentences where stretched out, each word a hesitation before speaking, it was beyond annoying. I have no idea what she was trying to convey, but Darcy's character in the British Knight was so lovely & in this book, she was narrated as quite pathetic (though the book certainly didn't convey her as such). I enjoyed the book, but Imogen Church was certainly not the reader for me. Irritating.
