Summary

As a lover of erotica and a fan of all things dominant and submissive I have to admit Sarah Blitz has me intrigued with the characters and the style of erotica she creates. Her quality of writing is acceptable for this length of story, but with a little more refinement and practice she has the skills to be a very good short story writer. I enjoyed reading about the underline relationship between Elizabeth and Samuel, her manipulative and dominating lover who has inticed her into the main plot of this audio book. I would actually like to read more of their stories, if they have been created, since just by this brief glimpse into their lives I am intrigued to see how this interesting and risqué couple came to be.

Also the sub-relationship between Lloyd and Gina also served to add substance, realism and relatability to this story. Gina must have put that poor man through so much emotional, sexual and physical pain for him to go all out Elizabeth the way he did in that alleyway. I would actually be interested in reading / listening to their stories as well, maybe get more context and understanding as to why he was in so much pain and how he deals with acknowledging that painin the aftermath of this encounter. (Just food for thought).

All in all this was a enjoyable if not exceptional erotica story but whose characters and substance, coupled by a raw but talented author has actually enticed me find out more about her characters and read more of her work. And that should be the goal of 'every' storyteller in this world. Well done Sarah Blitz I hope you entice me to become not only a casual reader/listener but a fan.
