I bought this on a whim and can honestly I actually enjoyed it.

It is a steamy one so headphones are a good option. I tend to read some erotic romance novels from time to time, but this one has been the best one I've read in a while.

Just purchased the dove so I cant wait to get started on that. I may end up buying a few more from this author

I have read the book and this was my review for that:- This is a spectacular story and highly recommended. Very early on one is hooked. This is a hot and steamy tale, but with a very strong narrative- that is to say not just a lot of random encounters.
Lady Daphne’s family has been destroyed and ruined in the eyes of the Ton by The Earl of Hartmoor (Adam). Daphne travels to his castle in Scotland to discover the reasons for the man’s hatred and need for vengeance. The narrative carefully leads us through this mystery. The characters are carefully drawn and believable.

The narrator is really good - he delivers the story superbly.

I love all of Victoria Vale’s book - she has a wonderful style and weaves a good story.

The relationship is based on revenge. anger and a desire to debase. The heroine enjoys this enormously. I don't relate to it but the story is well told even though it is just an excuse for violent sex. The narration is good.

This story has many ups and downs and it was difficult to like the main characters, but as the story unfolded you realise how strong, his character is. I really got into it by the end.
