The first time I set foot in Fire Chief Declan Everhart's small town, he declared me trouble.

This is the third book in the Boston Bolts series and follows Beckett’s brother-in-law Declan a grumpy closed off Fire Chief, Cade the goalie coach for the Bolts and Declan’s best friend. When they find themselves protecting famous singer Melinda, Lake Ford’s best friend, who has run away from her abusive ex who is also her agent.
This is a lovely story of love, protection and finding there can be more than one soulmate.
Mel is struggling to write her music as her abusive ex stole her journal and destroyed the pages. He tracks her down to a Bolts game and Declan nearly goes too far but Mel stops him and Beckett deletes the CCTV.
After she reports him he’s arrested and when her brother, who doesn’t believe his best friend was abusive to her, bails her ex out but they get in an accident leaving the ex in a coma.
Finally Declan admits his love for both after some ups and downs.
I enjoyed this throuple story
