I read this book from being recommended by BookTok for a book that would break me and leave me heartbroken. This book did well and truly that. I listened to this on audiobook as well as reading it on my kindle and I highly recommend listening to the audiobook whilst reading this as the narrators have done a fantastic job on this one and to hear what the author went through themselves when they wrote this book was truly heartbreaking. This book does not have a HEA but it will leave you completely broken. I did guess the storyline of parts before it had come up however it didn’t ruin the story for me and as much as it was devastating heartbreaking I loved it and couldn’t put it down.

Outstanding! a dark and heartwrenching story, preformed to perfection by Joe Arden and Lee Daniels.
I somewhat keep it together until the last chapter then completely lost it at the authors note.
Hats off to Ariel enduring her own battle and bringing us this masterpiece.

Ariel couldn't have chosen better narrators for Under Your Scars. Both Lee Daniels and Joe Arden bring the characters to life with such passion and skill. Daniels captures the emotional depth beautifully, while Arden, in particular, shines in portraying the complexity of Christian’s character. The way he transitions so smoothly between personas is truly impressive. Their combined performance elevates the story, making the audiobook a compelling and immersive experience.

I now understand the hype around this book. It is well written, it has a good storyline, and most of all it left me feeling speechless. I haven’t had a story leave me speechless EVER! I always work out the plot at the start of the story, I always know how it ends before it ends but this book…. OMG! Please do check your triggers before reading it as it is intense in every way. But go into it blind!! Im so glad I did
