This is one of those sleeper books. I read this on a whim and very shortly got involved in the story. I got sucked into the characters and couldn't put it down.
One thing that I was not happy about was the ending. I thought it was cold blooded!
The narrator did a fantastic job of bringing this book to life. She was able to effectively present many different people. She drew you into establishing a connection with the characters. This is very evident in the end of the story.
I now have to wait for the next book.
