I am all for shifter books and I love most of them. There's just something about the romantic primal fantasy that calls to me but this is more along the lines of bdsm/shifter-rough-sex/semi-unconsensual and I've read some that were similar like Lora Leigh. I personally like more of a consensual relationship than what the body wants versus what the mind wants tropes.
