JAMES ZWERNEMAN is the author of the novel "Uruk: The First City," as well as the children's book series "The Adventures of Ta and Boddington." A graduate of the Johns Hopkins Writing Seminars and UC Irvine's MFA Fiction Program, he is currently living in Naples, Florida, writing the sequel to "Uruk."
