Mikey Please (born 1984) is a BAFTA-winning and OSCAR-nominated writer, director, animator and illustrator from Somerset, England. His Debut picturebook- The Cafe at the Edge of the Woods won the 2025 Waterstones Children's Book of the Year. He is a member of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences and a director at Aardman Animations, Bristol.
