太宰 治
あだ名が「佐野次郎」のとある大学生は、甘酒屋で知り合った馬場数馬に雑誌『海賊』を創らないかと誘われる。
そしてその挿絵を馬場の親類である佐竹六郎に頼むことにするが、
偶然佐竹に動物園で出会った佐野は、馬場の言っている事は出鱈目であると告げられる。
そんな中、馬場の先輩・太宰治も加わり『海賊』創刊に向けての打ち合わせが行われるが――。 太宰治（だざい・おさむ）
津軽の大地主の六男として生まれる。
共産主義運動から脱落して遺書のつもりで書いた第一創作集のタイトルは「晩年」（昭和11年）
という。この時、太宰は27歳だった。
その後太平洋戦争に向う時期から戦争末期までの困難な間も妥協を許さない
創作活動を続けた数少ない作家の一人である。
戦後「斜陽」（昭和22年）は大きな反響を呼び、若い読者をひきつけた。
