『三四郎』は明治42年（1909年）に発表された夏目漱石の長編小説であり、続いて書かれた『それから』、『門』とあわせて前期三部作と呼ばれる作品である。
大学進学のために熊本から上京した三四郎は、見る物聞く物すべてが目新しい世界に戸惑いながら、故郷、学問、恋愛、というそれぞれの「世界」に、身を置いていることに気が付く。自由気侭な都会の女性 里見美禰子に出会い、彼女に強く惹かれて恋慕する三四郎だが、曖昧な態度をとる彼女に翻弄され続けるが……。
