ダイキさんという三十歳の怪談好きの青年が職場で、「誰か怖い体験している人はいないか」と尋ねるとCちゃんという部下の女の子が自分の体験を教えてくれた。
彼女は50年続く料理屋の令嬢で三姉妹の真ん中。祖父が料理人、祖母はかつて日本人形の人形師だった。
Cちゃんが生まれるとなった時祖母が数十年ぶりに、出産記念にとCちゃんと、姉の生まれた時のサイズに合わせてそれは美しい人形を作ってくれた。
