「叫ぶ」(29分)
城谷が中学三年生のとある秋の日。朝からの土砂降りの雨は、夜になっても激しさを増していた。
二階の自室で受験勉強にいそしんでいた夜中、激しい雨の音をつんざくような衝撃音と続いて引き裂かれるようなかん高い断末魔の叫び声を聞いた。
