林芙美子の代表的小説作品である『放浪記』のはじめの一章のみを読んだ。《放浪記以前－序にかへて-》であるが、あのあまりにも有名な『私は宿命的に放浪者である』という文を味わうことができるし、文学的教養として是非読んでおきたい名作である。
