Honestly I wasn’t sure if this audio was going to be as good as I remember it being from when I read it last year, but actually it was even better! It might actually be my favorite of the entire series now (it’s a tough choice between this and 5 Rounds). But the duet narration by CJ Bloom & Gideon Frost was fantastic. CJ is always a favorite but Gideon is new to me (I think) and he really nailed it as Kane. The chemistry of the two characters was popping off in audio, so good!
This story brings something different to the table that the others haven’t had thus far, and it was really beautiful to read Kane start his journey towards self-love & healing, with the support of Isabella and the crew at the mma gym.
The way they just clicked and were able to settle into themselves when around each other was just *chefs kiss*
My new favorite of the series!
