A wonderful guide to self-improvement and personal growth! I related with this book on a personal level. The journey of self-love can be challenging, and I've often struggled with self-doubt and self-criticism. The exercises in this journal helped me gain a better understanding of my own emotions and beliefs. One particular exercise on self-acceptance made me reflect on my past experiences and how they have shaped my self-image. We're always our worst critics. I think we all self-flagellate and often times we're not even aware of it. But who are we comparing ourselves to? To whose standards are we holding ourselves? I totally agree with the author; there's so much external BS that tells us how to think and feel. This meditative book is a really great start to reconnect with oneself, to trim away the external noise, to settle into being the observer again, where I could sit in awareness. It was a great reset and a renewal. It's sweet and it's simple. Give it a try!
