The reality of being a parent, a mom or a dad, is that one has to bend the truth a little. It is part and parcel of being a parent.
All parents lie. They lie because sometimes it gets extremely difficult to make their child do something that is beneficial for the kid, like having their dinner or drinking milk; sometimes parents lie about their children’s work just because they do not want to make them sad and kill the enthusiasm. Parents lie because they want their children to be obedient and improve their behavior.
