Wonderfully spooky stuff. Some stories you may have read and some may be new to you, but the narrator's tone is perfect throughout and breathes new life (and/or death) into all of them.

The odd monotonous way these stories are read makes some of the best horror/ghost stories in the canon sound really dull, at times soporific. I’ve actually given up on this collection.

Trying to listen to the stories past the awful, dull narration made this audiobook a chore rather than a pleasure. With so many vibrant, talented narrators out there, I wonder what this lot were thinking! Suffered four or five tales then baled out.
