About this listen

Two cases have pushed Detective Lindsay Boxer to the limit.

A string of fatal arson attacks have broken out in San Fransisco. The targets have one thing in common: they are all rich, successful, married couples. With four couples dead, Lindsay is determined to put a stop to the killings and trace the murderer.

Juggling cases, Lindsay has plenty on her mind. Michael Campion was a people's hero, a popular governor's son who publicly battled against a rare and debilatating heart illness. When he vanished without a trace one evening, his disappearance and the search to find him, dead or alive, hit the headlines daily. But the trail went cold very quickly. Now with a devastating new lead, Lindsay picks up the trail once more. But what is the link between the Campion case and the arson attacks?

With the help of her friends and fellow Women's Murder Club members - Yuki, an attorney feeling the strain of a high profile court case; Claire, a medical examiner trying to balance her career and her pregnancy and Cindy, the reporter for a San Fransisco newspaper - Lindsay must race to find the suspects and stop the cold-blooded killers, and fast.

Critic reviews

Fast-moving, intricately plotted story in which Boxer steals the show as the tough cop with a good heart.
The suspense is kept high until the final pages. 7th Heaven is written in a brisk and clear style...I enjoy a good plot and this one qualifies in that category...the bottom line is that I really enjoyed it and would certainly read more of the series and rather regret not having read the earlier ones'
Another giant of popular fiction to arrive in the shops in January will be James Patterson with 7th Heaven...As with all Patterson novels, expect lots of clever links in the breakneck plot
The seventh in the popular Woman's Murder Club series, this crime drama races along in short, action-packed chapters
I stayed up so late finishing it I got a migraine. But it was worth it!
Patterson's Boxers are not pants.

I have read the whole series and I'm hooked! This book continues on the tales and life of sgt. Lynzie Boxer and her 3 friends. It goes through police cases, personal life, and friendship and like all the other books you are hooked from the go! I would highly recommend starting at book 1 and enjoy the ride this is an awesome continuation of the series

I have read them all so far in order, this is possibly my favourite. A mix of good story lines.

I loved this book - and the last WMC book. Multiple tangents, great characters, twists, turns galore. Just superb - I am enjoying these later books FAR more than the early ones.

One of the best yet
