I never thought I’d see her again—the woman I left behind at the motel after our one-night stand.

Little did I know what I was signing up for: extinguishing fires (note to self: keep shorts handy), testing her dubious claim as the “World’s Best Kisser” (spoiler: the results are … shocking), and discovering a newfound appreciation for cramped spaces—and running washing machines. But then she disappears. Now I’m spiraling through a haze of “what ifs.” Did I just let the most remarkable woman slip through my fingers?

I absolutely adored Carter & Eden's Romance. Funny, Romantic, with plenty of spice and very low angst, this was a wonderful listen.
Brilliant writing, brought to life by excellent narration, from two amazing narrators who both have a great talent for different voices and accents. This was an absolute joy to listen to, and a book I shall enjoy revisiting again in the future. 🥰❤️

The best thing was the narrators but the story was contrived and slow. I really had to slog to finish. The female lead was too sweet and her whole personality revolved around cupcakes. The male lead was better but unrealistic. Did not enjoy this one iota.
