I was given this audio book as a prize in competition, with the understanding that I would give it an honest review.

I really enjoyed this audio book, I’ve been flitting from one to another for quite a bit trying to find something to get my teeth into and I can honestly say that I couldn’t put it down. I enjoyed the style of it and how the plot moves along nicely. The descriptions of characters, places and events have not been over done as I find that to be frustrating.
She wrapped up the story nicely however left you wanting more with the epilogue. I’m really looking forward to when book two comes out so I can see how the series develops.

What an interesting bunch of characters! The pace of the story is excellent, the lead female character is smart and sassy, and the overall feel of the book is a high tech police procedural. Well done to the author and the narrator.
