Delightful story with colourful descriptions. My first audiobook which I enjoyed on my morning walks. I liked the author's way of explaining the backstory of her characters just enough to take the story forward. I will search out her other books.

I was really excited to listen to Cress’s story & it didn’t disappoint! Loved her story, the new and existing characters (I enjoyed there still being a few Sophie vs Phoebe moments) & of course the dresses. The narrator is fantastic and really brings the characters to life.

I don't read romance but have challenged myself to try something new and have picked The Vintage Dress Shop series. I actually listened to this one first before book one, but reviewing after. A lot of cringy moments in this one, more so than book one, and I struggled at some points to actually listen, but overall it wasn't nearly as bad as I thought it would be a even had a few laughs. Will be listening to the third book anyway!
