Fully dramatized by best-selling narrator Steve Cook, with cinematic music and sound effects, this unabridged re-telling of Dickens' classic Christmas tale has something for everyone. All the sounds of 19th-century London are captured, from clopping hooves on cobblestones to booming Westminster chimes at midnight to the supernatural comings and goings of Scrooge’s four nocturnal visitors. Plus, a complete soundtrack of suspenseful and seasonal music throughout puts the finishing touches on a true, old-fashioned radio theatre-style experience. Steve's abridged dramatization of A Christmas Carol is also available everywhere. "God bless us, every one!"

Absolutely wonderful version of this classic. Brilliant narration and sound FX only add to this special story that we should all read/listen to every year.

This is the version of the classic you want!

This is one of my favourite books/stories and after listening to the recent full-cast versions of Harry Potter I was hoping for something similar. Unfortunately I found I was listening to a voice that was very robotic/AI, I almost stopped listening after the first few minutes as I found the American accent unbefitting of the story, an English actor would have been more suitable with the story being set in Victorian London (although Gonzo and Rizzo did do a remarkable job themselves in their movie lol).
I do love this story so I stuck through it to the end and did enjoy parts but the monotonous voice just didn’t work for me…

A missed opportunity
