The most romantic house in Cornwall has got a new owner…

Journalist Georgie Monroe has watched as it has been transformed into a high-tech glass palace, renovated by a mystery buyer.

When she’s invited to report on an event there, she comes face to face not only with her first love, architect Ethan Sparks, but also with their complicated past. Finding themselves trapped inside when the house malfunctions, Georgie realises that they — and the house — are still keeping secrets.

But have Georgie and Ethan left it too late to start again, or can they write the next chapter of their love story together?

Every once in a while I listen or read a book that really impacts me. This is one of those times. This book had me from the outset and I literally couldn't stop listening. A magical story with wonderful characters, taking place in different times. I will most certainly listen to this again and again. Thank you to all involved.

I love all of the other books by this author so settled in for an escapist and relaxing romantic treat. Unfortunately struggled to get through this one, totally overblown on nostalgic romance and with two sweet but limp lettuces as hero and heroine Ewan and Georgie. Poor Georgie seems to be a complete doormat, a young carer who gets walked over by her mum and then her boss; the one time she stands up to herself with Ewan she regrets it for 13 long years, drops out of education, doesn't pursue her writing dreams and slowly falls apart, hoping one day for his return but doing nothing to contact him. Ewan, suprise suprise is now successful in his career, surprise surprise has loved her all these years ......but didnt bother knocking on her door. Result: a story that felt tedious, didnt really go anywhere, and with stereotypical characters.

Overblown romance with sweety drippy characters
