About this listen

The long-awaited finale to the #1 New York Times bestselling Once Upon a Broken Heart trilogy.

Two villains, one girl, and a deadly battle for happily ever after.

Evangeline Fox ventured to the Magnificent North in search of her happy ending, and it seems as if she has it. She's married to a handsome prince and lives in a legendary castle. But Evangeline has no idea of the devastating price she's paid for this fairytale. She doesn't know what she has lost, and her husband is determined to make sure she never finds out . . . but first he must kill Jacks, the Prince of Hearts.

Blood will be shed, hearts will be stolen, and true love will be put to the test in A Curse for True Love, the breathlessly anticipated conclusion to the Once Upon A Broken Heart trilogy.

Two thirds of the book nothing happens and the final third of the book, to much happens. It’s all a bit underwhelming.
Not a fan of amnesia driven story, it’s just repetitive after while … and most of this book the protagonist was left in that state. 🙄 it just negates all the character development and pauses the story .

Still it was a somewhat enjoyable conclusion to the series.

Cute but meh

I’m glad I got to hear how this story ended. It also wrapped up some threads about Jacks and Tella which I appreciated.

But, I hope there is a next series to say what will happen for Lala and Chaos!?

Woooo!

I finished the book so quickly because I just wanted to know what happens next. With 3h 40min to go I had no idea how everything would be resolved and it was an exciting ride till the end.

So good

A very YA ending. The great slow burn kinda never became a pyre. It had the potential of an inferno but fizzled out into a spark. I guess my expectations were to high.

Unsatisfying but sweet

I felt like the end of the book had so much more left to talk about and it made me want to know more but the book was over.

It left me always wanting more. But i needed to known more of jacks thoughts than apollo.
